We’ll track chimpanzees in Kibale Forest and learn about what it takes to habituate them from their natural wild state till they are calm and accommodative to humankind for tourism activities.
Cross over a few kilometers into Uganda’s Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park and get mesmerized by the rugged terrain, thick and mist covered forests. Get extra doses of excitement by tracking these wild giants again and take great note of comparisons and similarities for they are never the same.
Walk at leisure in the communities close to the park that have lived with the Mountain gorillas all their lifetime. Share their experiences, listen to their music and moving stories, dance to their tunes.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Travel to Kibale Forest national park
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Kibale Forest National Park with your driver guide from Nsheka African Adventures. This is the prime destination for chimpanzee tracking in Africa. Located in Western Uganda, Kibale hosts 14 different primates and it is one of the epicenters for primate studies in the world. During the transfer to the Primate Empire, you will have a stopover for lunch at Fort Portal Town. Before continuing to your lodge at the park, you can explore the crater lakes region. Dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Chimpanzee trekking in Kibale Forest
After breakfast, you will go chimpanzee tracking in the forest of Kibale. Spend the morning hour with these elegant apes before returning to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch and relaxation, go for a nature walk through the Bigodi Wetland. Later return to the Lodge of your Choice as above.

Day 3: Travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park, a world biosphere reserve in Western Uganda. Go for game viewing in the savanna national park. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 4: Game drive and launch cruise
After breakfast, you will go for an early game drive in queen Elizabeth national park. On this trip, you will view different animals like the lions, buffaloes and elephants. Return to the lodge for lunch before going for an evening launch cruise on Kazinga channel. Return in the evening for dinner and overnight at the Accommodation of your choice as above.

Day 5: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable national park
After your breakfast, you will be transferred to to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park.This journey is interesting as you get to have a scenic view of the highlands. Reach in the evening and check in your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Gorilla trekking
After breakfast,you will go for a hilarious mountain gorilla trekking in the forest of Bwindi.You will go with your packed lunch and you will spend most of the day with the primates.Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at accommodation of your Choice as above.

Day 7: Transfer back to Kampala/Entebbe
After breakfast, you will be transferred back to Kampala/ Entebbe for your evening flight home or to This will be the end of our safari.
